Laminated Glass
Protective Glass Combining Safety and Functionality

Key Features
- Glass Thickness Options:5+5, 6+6, 8+8, 10+10, 12+12 (double laminated; customizable glass thickness and PVB interlayer thickness, e.g., 0.38mm / 0.76mm PVB)
- Core Material:PVB (Polyvinyl Butyral) interlayer; light transmittance ≥85%, bonding strength ≥0.4 MPa, operating temperature range -40℃ to 120℃
- Certification Standard:Compliant with GB9962-1999 “Laminated Glass” standard
- Core Process:Glass cleaning → PVB interlayer lamination → pre-pressing & air evacuation → high-temperature and high-pressure curing (130–150℃, 1.0–1.5 MPa)
Technical Advantages
- Impact-Resistant & Shatterproof:The PVB interlayer has excellent adhesion. Even under severe impact, glass fragments remain bonded to the interlayer, preventing shattering and flying shards. Ideal for high-altitude glass applications, it effectively reduces the risk of injury from falls or accidental collisions.
- 99% UV Protection:The PVB interlayer blocks over 99% of ultraviolet rays (≤380nm), protecting indoor furniture, flooring, curtains, etc., from fading or aging while reducing UV damage to human skin. Perfect for sunrooms and large floor-to-ceiling windows.
- Enhanced Sound Insulation:Compared to single-pane glass, the PVB interlayer significantly reduces sound transmission, improving acoustic insulation by 5–8 dB. When combined with an insulating glass structure, it achieves dual benefits of “soundproofing + safety,” suitable for noise-sensitive areas.
- Durable Weather Resistance:The PVB interlayer exhibits excellent high- and low-temperature resistance and aging stability. Even under prolonged outdoor exposure (sun, rain, high temperatures), it maintains integrity without delamination or yellowing, with a service life synchronized with the building (≥20 years).
Application Scenarios

High-Rise Buildings:Curtain walls, observation elevator glass, roof skylights

Safety-Relevant Application Scenarios: Bank Counter Glass, Jewelry Store Display Case Glass, Fire Door Glass

Public Spaces: Mall atrium glass railings, stadium spectator glass, airport terminal glazing
